The purpose of OSHA 10 training for the construction industry is to: 1) inform individuals how to identify their rights as a workers; 2) identify employer responsibilities; 3) identify, abate, avoid and prevent job related hazards; 4) effectively communicate job site hazards; 5) suggest remedies to job site hazards in accordance to 29 CFR 1926; 6) identify the importance of OSHA compliance on the jobsite; and 7) role model OSHA compliant safety behaviors. Upon completion of this course, the students will have demonstrated an able to recognize job site hazards and suggest corrective measure that comply with 29 CFR 1926
The purpose of OSHA 30 training for the construction industry is to: 1) occupational safety course that emphasizes student recognition of job site hazards and identifying corresponding standards in the 29CFR1926; OSHA 35 is an overview of OSHA construction standards with special considerations given to the individual’s safe use of personal protective equipment, fall protection, hazard awareness, ladders, and scaffolding. Upon completion of OSHA 35, individuals will receive their 30 hour OSHA Construction Card.
